The pier in Sopot is one of the most characteristic symbols of the city and at the same time the longest wooden structure of its kind in Europe - it is over 500 metres long! Walking along it, you can feel the real seaside atmosphere - on one side you can see the sandy beaches and bustling waterfront, on the other side the boundlessness of the Bay of Gdańsk.
It is the perfect place for a romantic stroll, a family outing or simply a moment of relaxation overlooking the sea. In summer, the pier becomes the centre of cultural and entertainment events - concerts, shows and other attractions are often held here.
